So i went by myself last night to the AnBerlin concert at the Gothic. Great show! AnBerlin is kind of a wierd band for me since they aren't hardcore or punk or heavy by any means, they're just good.
I got there late on purpose since i didn't know the opening bands, Jonezetta and MegDia, and well, i caught the end of MegDia and they weren't that bad, nah, they sucked.
the 3rd band was Bayside. I had been reading the hype so i downloaded their album, hated it, the singers voice doesn't sit well with me. So watching them live wasn't that bad, they had a lot of energey and a huge following, but it didn't convert me.
Then finally, AnBerlin. They came and just rocked, played some songs off of Blueprint but most of the stuff came from Friendship and Cities, heavy on the Cities. The singer has so much energy its just hard to believe. Heres the setlist as i can remember it, at least the songs they played;

how do you remember a set list? you are made for this stuff.
i made a point last night to remember the list, i can't remember the order though, i only remember what they opened with (Whisper/Clamor) and what they ended with (*fin).
